ZOOM MEETING - 7:00 p.m.

Question and Answer Session with Mentors, John Beers and Doug Anderson

John and Doug answered many good questions that members asked. We talked about techniques on how to correct a laying worker hive. John and Doug each shared a different technique they use to correct this problem.

We also talked about absconding, when to make new Queens, when is the best time to split, using quilting boxes, when to put honey supers on, and bears and what electric fences work well.

Thank you John and Doug for sharing your experience with us!

Our next meeting is scheduled for April 20, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. We plan to start meeting in person again at Central Virginia Assembly of God, 5052 Cross County Road, Mineral, VA 23117. We will be following CDC guidelines and masks will be required.

We look forward to seeing everyone again.
