Meeting Minutes

Opening

Slade called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and welcomed everyone.

There were 11 members present.

Old Business

Dues are due! John Beers was not present at this meeting. Therefore, the folks who were prepared to pay their dues, will be prepared to do so at the September meeting.

Slade said that he did not get a response from the email he had sent to the church regarding the shed and the possibility of putting one on the church’s property. Slade suggested that a utility trailer would be a good option and he is willing to store it on his property. One member knows a friend who has axels that we could get if we plan to build our own trailer.

Linda Carpenter said that she would reach out to the Pastor regarding the shed and to ask whether we could get permission to use the church’s Wi-Fi should we have the need to do so. We have had various folks who are willing to give presentations, but have suggested to do so by way of ZOOM.

New Businesss

Linda read the Treasurer’s report which John Beers had prepared.

Bank Statement balance 7/31/2020 - $2,684.82

Checkbook balance: $2,264.82

Cash: $416.01

Checks Outstanding: $420.00

Paypal Balance: $0.00

There are 13 copies of the Beekeeping Basics and 19 copies of the Field Guide to Honey Bees.
